Dominican Carnival (Sundays in February)
February 1, 2027 - February 28, 2027
Dominican Carnival is celebrated every Sunday in February, with La Vega, Santiago and Santo Domingo staging the largest parades. Diablos cojuelos in mirrored costumes, lechones and regional characters fill the streets each weekend before the national parade closes the season.
Dates are provisional — the organizer has not yet published the final programme.
